1 October 2001: This morning we went for a short hike on a trail only than 2.5 miles from our house -- as you can see, Autumn has arrived in Vermont! There's also a picture of Timothy in his brand-new big-boy's bed, complete with shelves for books and drink. Come back soon, as we'll be working our way back through our move to Cabot, Campers' Week at Pinewoods, the quick trip to Keuka Lake, and back to our trip to Norway and Iceland over the next week or two.

October, 2001
1st We hiked a short path up to Nichols Ledge today -- less than 2.5 miles from our house. The farmhouse you can see (in the south) is just up the road from our own house.

September, 2001
28th Timothy gets into his brand-new bed. Erik has fond memories of having a bed with a headboard that held his books and was thrilled to find something similar for Timothy.

19th We went to Storyland in Glen, N.H., for a much-needed day of R & R. Just down the road from our house, we caught sight of some wild turkeys.
